Where?

Kansas City, technically a nuetral site. Only a one year contract. TJ says he'll have more info up in a blog soon.

"Furthermore, the source says the Utes are verbally commited to play in the 2015 Puerto Rico tip-off tournament, now one of the premier of its kind nationally. The field in Puerto Rico this season included Michigan, Georgetown, Virginia Commonwealth, Florida State and Kansas State."

Also, a source tells the Tribune that the BYU-Utah hoops series will very likely continue without interruption. The two athletic directors - Chris Hill and Tom Holmoe - have spoken directly about extending the series and a deal will likely get done in the coming months.

So despite speculation to the contrary, Utah and BYU doesn't seem to be in any real danger of ending.

I actually like this. A hoops rivalry is a good idea, and doesn't carry the same baggage as the football rivalry.

You gotta wonder if this marks the end of the "Utah Invitational." I doubt Larry is going to set up the non-con sked to play half of our games in a 6-day stretch in the first 45 days of the season.

Per the Utah Athletics official facebook page. December 13 2014 at the Sprint Center

I like it but wouldn't mind seeing a two game series with the second being played at the Delta Center (or ESA or whatever). That is as neutral as Kansas playing in Kansas City.

great news, hopefully Utah wont be embarrassed and us it as a recruiting tool.
