    Todd Christensen has passed away...

Love him or hate him, the guy was a helluva TE.

RIP. He lived a big, good life.

There is little of all that we do which the eye of man can see. His life including the arc of his NFL career ought to be a huge inspiration to anyone. Amazing.

The fact that life evolved out of nearly nothing, some 10 billion years after the universe evolved out of literally nothing, is a fact so staggering that I would be mad to attempt words to do it justice.

I knew his wife. Never easy to see someone your own age die.

Todd had a four-year run where he was arguably the best TE in the game. If he could have extended that run another year or two, he's probably in Canton. And he might still get there some day. The only thing Ozzie Newsome had over Todd was longevity.

I loved Todd Christensen despite being a Chargers fan. He was awfully young. Sad for his family.
