Swearing on a football field or locker room?!? Shocking!

I know tv sanitizes things for the public, but I don't think anyone is surprised that even LDS coaches use salty language. This is the school that Rick Majerus used to coach for. We should not be surprised by anything.

And anyone who spent time around Fred Whittingham Sr....

Yeah, I caught the end of a couple of his famous rants when he was the liaison between the field staff and the team. Yowza.

Most don't think the Huskies will beat Oregon, which is why they are considering the (fantasy) deal. One expert said that "that game was more about Utah than Oregon." I've heard several times criticism of Chris Hill for his petty, egotistical, idiotic feud with Kyle. Sitaki does not come up; they don't know who the hell he even is (the before and after of his Utah tenure ought to enlighten as to who's the source of Utah's perennially great or strong defense--yet I know there are posts here from LAUte from a the year before last complaining that the defense is sub-par with Sitaki). They love the Ute defense and its discipline, comparing it to the Seahawks.

The defense is Kyle's pride and joy muscle car that he built from the ground up. Sitake just got to carry the keys around for a while.

Indeed. I learned 5-7 years ago not to worry about the D. It will always be rockin. All of the hand wringing this summer amused me.

    That's very funny. Great analogy.
One thing I have learned in a long life: that all our science, measured against reality, is primitive and childlike -- and yet it is the most precious thing we have.

The fact that life evolved out of nearly nothing, some 10 billion years after the universe evolved out of literally nothing, is a fact so staggering that I would be mad to attempt words to do it justice.
