I'm really intrigued by the new early signing strategy and what how the Utes are approaching it. While other schools have been accepting verbal commitment after verbal commitment, the Utes have very few verbals. Dan Sorenson, of Utezone, was on the radio the other day and said that the Utes are watching which committed players at other schools are not getting LOI papers for the early signing and using that to try to flip them. I think that is a perfect strategy. There was a longtime USC commit, who lives in my daughter's former LDS Ward in California. He took an official visit to Utah for the CU game and just looking at the commit list, it looks like USC has been recruiting over him.
A funny side effect of the early signing period and winter break.

Looks like Angilau from East committed to Texas tonight. That sucks almost as bad as Texas does.

So, how many guys are we expecting to get on Wed? Or through the early signing period, I should say?
“It only ends once. Anything that happens before that is just progress.”
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
Rumors floating around that Stevie T has resurfaced and has involved himself in Jack Tuttle's recruitment. Can anyone provide any of the dirty details?
EDIT: Maybe just a Twitter troll job. Could be a long week.

So Cal tv station tweeted out that Tuttle will sign with Utah on the 20th.

Who the hell knows. His high school coach seemed determined to push out his teammate's commitment to Oregon (a DB that we were also recruiting) and then sent out another tweet indicating that Pirtle had committed to Utah. The NewUteCommits twitter handle picked it up and sent it out as an "official." Pirtle then responded to that tweet, voicing his disappointment. The NewUteCommits tweet was then deleted and it's been pretty quiet since.
Okay. Prediction time! I want to hear your surprise predictions for tomorrow. I don’t subscribe to any of the pay sites, (and ever since they consolidated and revamped the website, I can’t even backdoor their articles through Twitter anymore) so I have no insider knowledge whatsoever. But my surprise signing prediction tomorrow is Tyler Manoa to the Utes. Just because.

The East boys signed with Texas and UW; a pox on their houses.
Man that is disappointing to me. The one who signed with UW was student body treasurer at Clayton Jr. High when my daughter was v.p. No. 7 on the East team was the sb president. Paul Maile hasn't signed yet; he used to hang around our kitchen when he was in the 3rd grade. I dont think Putatau has signed either. Hope springs eternal.
