    Campus Social Justice Warriors

This subject has caught the attention of The Simpsons.

“True, we [lawyers] build no bridges. We raise no towers. We construct no engines. We paint no pictures - unless as amateurs for our own principal amusement. There is little of all that we do which the eye of man can see. But we smooth out difficulties; we relieve stress; we correct mistakes; we take up other men's burdens and by our efforts we make possible the peaceful life of men in a peaceful state.”

Appears Ann Coulter was invited to speak at Berkeley, but, the Chancellor has asked her to reschedule when there aren't any classes, as they have "very specific intelligence regarding threats that could pose a grave danger to the speaker, attendees and those who may wish to lawfully protest the event."

    Coulter's response?

So a controversial outside speaker can't come speak at the place where the campus "free speech movement" started. Perfect.

(Note: I don't like Coulter at all but I think a lot of people need to grow up.)

Personally, I think Berkely is not a safe place for someone like me with libertarian leanings. There is no diversity there. Everybody thinks the same and expects and actually is now starting to demand through violence that others think like them.

    Bad place.

It's also the place where the quest (including much of the research) for an atomic bomb was started. Interesting coincidence.

I can see a day when Berkeley progressives promise to incite violence in response to a conservative viewpoint, and a group like Bikers for Trump says I don't think so.
