    Massive RNC voter data leak

    The information on 198 million voters was accidentally made public on an Amazon server, and some security researchers found it.

    Reading the details, it looks like the data was stored on an Amazon S3 (file service) location and they changed the permissions possibly to allow access for a partner, but opened it up to the whole world.
