    Pac-12 Survivor Pool: 2017 Edition

Welcome back to the betting competition that involves no prize money and gathers about a dozen participants! Let's get crazy!

The same rules apply as last year:

    (1) you have to pick one Pac-12 winner each week (you have to pick a Pac-12 team to win its game)
    (2) you can only choose one particular team to win once during the season (i.e. if you pick Oregon in week 1 you can't choose them ever again)
    (3) you can only select against each team once during the season (i.e. the Colorado Oregon State rule; once you pick against a team they can't pick against them again)
    (4) FBS teams only. If an FCS team is playing, that game cannot be chosen. (note: Senioritis, this applies to you as well)
    (5) Your selection must be entered before the game you pick in has kicked off. Thus, if you only check the board on Sunday's there is still one game that you can select.

Remember, you are keeping track of who you picked to win each game and who you picked to lose. Let the fun begin!

Here is this weeks slate of games:

New Mexico State atArizona State (Thurs, Aug 31)
Washington at Rutgers (Fri, Sep 1)
Colorado State at Colorado (Fri, Sep 1)
Cal at North Carolina (Sat, Sep 2)
Western Michigan atUSC (Sat, Sep 2)
Texas A&M at UCLA, (Sun, Sep 3)

Ineligible this week because of FCS opponent: Utah, Oregon, Oregon State, Arizona, Washington State

    Good luck and happy picking.

I will take Rod Tidwell's Arizona St. Sun Devils.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Isn't OSU playing Colorado State? Shouldn't they be eligible? Not that anyone would pick them.

“True, we [lawyers] build no bridges. We raise no towers. We construct no engines. We paint no pictures - unless as amateurs for our own principal amusement. There is little of all that we do which the eye of man can see. But we smooth out difficulties; we relieve stress; we correct mistakes; we take up other men's burdens and by our efforts we make possible the peaceful life of men in a peaceful state.”

So I said to David Eckstein, "You promised me, Eckstein, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I noticed that during the most trying periods of my life, there have only been one set of prints in the sand. Why, when I have needed you most, have you not been there for me?" David Eckstein replied, "Because my little legs had gotten tired, and you were carrying me." And I looked down and saw that I was still carrying David Eckstein.
