    Favorite Actor/Actress

I'll give you a few of mine, both popular and not-so-popular:

Ben Foster- 3:10 to Yuma, X-Men Last Stand

Gary Oldman- Dark Knight Rises, Lawless, Fifth Element

    Leo Di'Caprio- Obvious

Guy Pearce- Prometheus, Memento, Count of Monte Cristo, King's Speech

Tom Hardy- He has really nice traps

Samantha Barks- Les Mis, really the only thing that kept me interested in his movie (I feel less guilty about thinking she's hot since she looks kinda like my wife)

Jason Bateman- Arrested Development, State of Play

Russell Crowe- Man crush, ultimate alpha male

Other than some of the obvious (Pacino, Deniro, Day-lewis etc.), I find that I almost always enjoy roles played by Edward Norton, Geoffry Rush, Gene Hackman, and John Malcovich. The funny thing is I started out disliking each of them, but then realized it wasn't them, but the characters they played that I disliked. After that, I started to respect their ability to make me feel that way, and have admired them for it in subsequent roles. Bill Murray is a favorite comic actor comes to mind.

    I really like Sam Elliott.

If you haven't seen the old miniseries, Once and Eagle, do. It's from a book by one of my favorite authors, Anton Meyer. He was also very good as Travis McGee in the movie, "Empty Copper Sea".

I love Jon Bon Jovi! I am hoping that man will focus on his acting now that his music isn't all the rage......

    Cate Blanchett.
“The world is so exquisite with so much love and moral depth, that there is no reason to deceive ourselves with pretty stories for which there's little good evidence. Far better it seems to me, in our vulnerability, is to look death in the eye and to be grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides.”
    Carl Sagan
