Question about Tyrell Corbin:

I don't follow recruiting much, especially when it comes to basketball, but I wondered what the deal was with this kid coming out of high school. I noticed that he's back in Utah at SLCC, so once again my interest is peaked. My question is why didn't he ever garner any interest from any big schools, including in state universities? I've never seen him play, and really the only thing I know about him, besides being Ty Corbin's kid, is that he was named Mr. Basketball. Even in a state that's not known as a basketball hotbed I'd think that would raise some eyebrows.

Short version of his dad(6'0" and that is generous). Not althletic enough to be a dribble/drive Was a volume scorer in HS. Shooting 17% from 3 at SLCC. Boylen didn't have an offer for him and Krysko didn't give him an offer to play on last years talented roster.
