I like him a lot. He is a common sense, middle of the road guy who people on both sides can appreciate. He isn't overly dogmatic and seems to have broad appeal. He would be a great addition to John Huntsman No Labels party (Republicans, Democrats, and Independent).

But I can't see the electorate ever voting for the fat guy. We Americans are just too appearance conscious.

He has to win the nomination first, which will be no easy task when hardly anyone in the south will give him a serious look because they will just see him as a northeast RINO moderate like McCain and Romney (yes, I know, McCain didn't come from the northeast).
