Ronnie Biggs, a member of the crew that executed the Great Train Robbery of 1963 died today, at age 84.

This guy has certainly had a colorful life.

Joined the RAF at 18
Dishonorably discharged after deserting.
In and out of jail for 10 years.
At 27, married a 17 year old daughter of a primary school headmaster.
At 34, was part of the Great Train Robbery of 1963, was caught and put in prison.
Escaped from prison in 1965
Moved to Australia and received plastic surgery with what was left of his robbery gains.
Moved to Brazil.
Hosted for profit parties for tourists where he would recount the Great Train Robbery.
Hung out with pro sports athletes.
Made recordings with the Sex Pistols.
Was kidnapped by British ex-military, but escaped after their boat broke down in Bermuda
Finally returned back to the UK after he became ill and could get free health care in prison.


I wonder who will play him in the movie?
