Utes close out the series with Sacramento St. with a 5-4 win to split the series. Good showing by Bret Helton on his first start and win as a Ute. Helton gave up 2 runs on 3 hits in the first inning then pitched 5 shutout innings, allowing only 2 base runners on BB and HBP. Nick Green gets the save.

Big weekend ahead as the Utes head down to AZ for the Pac12 vs BIG tournement.

Utah knocks off Indiana in 15 innings on a Cory Hunt 2 out walk-off single. Nick Green was stellar, 9ks in 7ip. Glad to see a team close out a close game.

Another impressive outing for the Utes as they defeat Nebraska 4-3. Utah takes 2-3 in the Pac12/Big 10 Challenge. Impressive pitching the last two games from Banks, Green, Carroll and Helton.

What happened to Utah baseball tonight? Wowzas.

That was one of the worst games I've seen the Utes play. Horrible all around, pitching (served up some good batting practice for the Y), couldn't field simple routine plays, couldn't hit.
