I have a 17-page PDF of the revised plans for the basketball center, which I converted into a .jpg file. I was able to upload only these pages. It shows the first and second floor plans. The key thing about the revised plan is that it will be a basketball-only facility, not attacked to the other remodeled portion of the old HPER, which will be available to all sports.

This rendering shows where the new facility will be, and gives a good idea of its separateness:

This is a straight-on view of the training facility, looking north from the Huntsman. This is the remodel/add-on to the HPER. As you are facing this, the basketball center (my last post before this one) will be to your right:

This is the plan for the third floor, which I left off below.

This is the fourth floor. I guess the men's coaches offices get the best view. Very nice for the recruiting meetings in Kodiak's office, which I hope will happen when there's no inversion:

This is the before and after "street view" from the west, looking east with the Huntsman on your right. You can see how the new training facility is added to the HPER on the left side and the b-ball facility pops up on the right side, up the hill. (I am kind of proud of myself for figuring out how to do this, BTW. Back-slaps welcome.)

Final set of shots. The first is a straight-ahead rendering of the new b-ball facility looking east from the Huntsman. The second is a view from the south of the same building. The third is what the Hall of Fame entry area will look like. I think this whole thing is beautiful and will be a huge step forward for the program.

Thanks for the link. There were some good pictures there. Huntsman looks like he has aged a lot in the last few years. Who was the portly fellow in the red jacket with no tie that was in several pictures?

Kem Gardner. Huntsman's health hasn't been the greatest lately, IIRC.

He's had some health struggles, but still made it to more games this year than in recent memory.

And for those that don't know. Ken Gardner was a co-founder of The Boyer Company and now is the president of The Gardner Company. Big time player in Utah property development

Nice article in today's Trib about the building. Sounds terrific, and I am confident Larry can make it work for the program:
