With all the discussion about banning freshmen from NCAA play and the NBA wanting to delay when kids can enter the draft, why doesn't the NBA utilize the D League better?

What if the NBA said you have to be two years removed from high school to enter the draft.
Then the NCAA said that if you sign a scholarship, no draft for three years, ala baseball.
BUT, you can join the D League out of high school. The D League contracts would be for two years, the kids could negotiate the deals with agents, And at the end of every deal the kid then enters the draft.
This would help the NCAA as it would force kids to stay at least three years.
It would help the NBA as it would delay arrival to the NBA by a year (or two).
It helps the kids, because they could make money out of high school, or go to college. They could hire agents, get sponsors, etc.
it helps the D League. Could you imagine LeBron in the D League for two or three years? He'd be making some money from the D League, plus 100 million from Nike. You could put those games on tv.

Anyways, stupid idea?
