Since we have a thread for cool things from the universe, why not cool things found in the Earth!

This article notes that they believe they found the tomb of Phillip II, who was Alexander the Great's father.

Though they can't say for sure, they seem to believe the evidence suggests that it is him.

The Egyptians are such a mystery to us today. What they accomplished in the fields of math and engineering in their time is staggering and because of the language barrier we have no idea of how they did it. Throw in strange things like this and they are a mystery wrapped inside an enigma.
