This is an absolutely incredible story of a real American hero.

There is a part of this story that was not included here that I just had to add. Jack Tueller has lived just down the street from my Grandparents for years and years. When I go to visit, it is not uncommon to hear his trumpet playing throughout the neighborhood. As it mentions in the story, his wife passed away several years ago after a battle with Alzheimer's. One of the neatest things I've seen in my life was when I would see him take his declining wife by the hand, help her into a chair in their yard, and then he would play his trumpet for her as she would just smile and watch. After his, he would sit down next to her, take her by the hand and just stay there for a while. Even in their late 80's, it was like they were young kids in love again.
