I havent lived in Alaska for 15 years. I moved there for High School when my Dad got transferred for work and moved back to Utah right after. But I did love my time there so I go to visit frequently.

There's been a lot of talk about Donovan Isom. Here's his recruiting highlights video. I'm not one who can watch video like this and make any reliable conclusions about a guy's talent, but I am hoping some of you can tell me something. He certainly looks good to me:

You are not alone in this. Pretty much every QB scout and coach is with you. The difference is that you will admit it.

Donovan Isom also had offers from Louisiana Tech and Tulane (meh) and Miami, and apparently Dan Mullen at Miss St was very interested. They obviously saw something there.

I will say that when I compared this to Hansen's highlight videos, Hansen passed the eyeball test just a shade better. I felt like he made quicker decisions and threw a more crisp ball. He just seemed quicker with the ball.

But then again, I'm not sure how to gauge the talent level these guys were playing against.
