It's Spring, which means it's new uni time. While OSU's logo leaked weeks ago, we now get a look at the full brand set (http://www.osubeavers.com/reveal/). Per Nike's recent MO (see also: MSU, Mizzou, ASU, WSU, Okie St.), every team at OSU is now under the same dress guidelines. Among the interesting changes: a new color (gold), chrome everywhere, and the disappearance of the OS mark.

I like it. A lot.

I really like the football uniforms (the all-orange isn't my favorite, though).

And the cursive wordmark is slick.

The more I look at it...the less I feel the logo is long for this earth. It just doesn't have that "feel" of a permanent logo. However, the Beaver's should NEVER give up the beaver teeth look on the facemasks. That's the kind of cleverness that can be made iconic.

Good to see that the Beavers will be wearing nice looking uniforms next year when the Ducks beat the shit out of them.

Until i just read this post, i didn't notice the beaver teeth on the face mask. i agree - i think that's kitschy and could be really appreciated. especially if the Beavers stay tough in the conference, their mascot and Beaver unis could become more noticeable and appreciated.
