It wouldn't happen at my house. First, they'd have to know where the pressure plates are so as to not set off the mines. If they are somehow able to get to the door, pushing the doorbell will trigger 500,000 volt stream of electricity that lasts for 2 minutes. When the stream stops, the hounds are immediately released, so if the trespasser isn't dead, he will be eaten alive.
