The author, Paul Myerberg, has as impressive a review of our team as any I've seen. Sometimes you see obvious errors or just bad reviews, but this review was pretty fair, in my opinion, and you can tell he's done his homework, probably spoke with coaches, intelligently.

I don't really care about the 61 ranking, I just want to get back to a bowl game. Anything above 6 wins in the season is gravy.

A very interesting review indeed. I did notice this, however:

Should we send him e-mails?

Damn straight we should. Little league baseball is almost over, then I can emerge from the milk cartoon

Good heavens. I don't know what a milk cartoon is but here's hoping you escape soon before things go sour.

Myerberg did the same thing, identical format, for the past three seasons at presnapread.com, which was the New York Times' college football blog. I had no idea he moved over to USA Today, but other than Phil Steele, his writeup is the most comprehensive preseason piece you'll see on Utah from a national outlet.

Also, he had gobs of research help at the NYT and USAT available to him. To write this much on 125 teams all by himself is beyond superhuman. I would be very surprised if he didn't receive a lot of help.
