Seeing that makes me miss Devontae Booker even more.
Good game tonight: Louisville @ NCState
Friday: Boise State @ BYU. The annual game between the two most prominent G5 also-rans of realignment. Both programs are now in noticeable decline.
Saturday morning:
#2, #3, #4, and #5 in the nation are all playing unranked teams in this time slot. Surely one of those games will be close, right?
Saturday afternoon:
West Va @ TCU. Pretty big game here.
Miami @ FSU. Seminole rebound vs in-state rival?
Maryland @ Ohio State. Can terps win @ Texas and @ OSU in the same season? Probably not.
Saturday evening:
Bama @ A&M. One of these days, someone will give Bama a game.
MSU @ Michigan. Hoping for another classic finish.
Wazzu @ Oregon. Ducks on third string QB but still have Freeman.
Saturday late night:
Stanford @ Utah. Ultimate white collar/blue collar game.
Cal @ UW. Check out the 4th quarter after the Utah game.
Watching Oklahoma vs Iowa St and they’re showing highlights from other games. They mention Barkley from PSU has -7 yards rushing today and ask if that hurts his Heisman chances.
The color commentator actually says it won’t hurt him at all, he’s too talented.....sure thing buddy, sure thing.

Oregon State job just opened up, buh bye Gary Anderson
What a crazy story. Gary walks away from $11.6M just to get out of Corvallis. After walking away from Wisconsin. It will be very interesting to watch where he ends up.

I used to be all in favor of Gary being on a short list of HCs that could replace Kyle. I can't support these kinds of decisions -- bailing on team in midseason, not doing his homework on Wisconsin before taking that job, turning down $12 million (because he thinks he'll get another HC job? LOL). There are a few loose toys in Gary's attic, to be sure.
Did he quit or was he fired? I didn't read the article. If he quit I believe he owes OSU about $1.5M for his Wisconsin buyout.
Worst week of the season for intriguing games. Zero games between ranked teams.
SunBelt Wednesdays start tonight, if you're into that kind of thing.
The Thursday game was postponed to Sat (GT @ Miami)
Friday late: Wazzu @ Cal. I can watch that for as long as it stays close.
Sat morning: I think Michigan @ Indiana is the best bet here. TCU @ Kstate has potential.
Sat afternoon:
Purdue @ Wiscy. Badgers just keep ripping teams apart.
OU @ Texas. Red River Rivalry.
Sat evening.
Utah @ USC.
I think MSU @ Minnesota, UCLA @ Arizona, and Ohio State @ Nebraska are the other games I'll keep an eye on.
Sat late:
Oregon @ Stanford with UW @ ASU during commercials.
Clemson and Washington State both get embarrassed tonight. Cal has held the Cougars to 3 points so far with 5 left.

Are you ready for some football?
Thursday: Memphis @ Houston. Tigers still in the running for NY6 G5 spot. BUT...watch Alex Smith tonight!
Friday: take the night off. You've been watching hard.
Saturday morning:
Okie St @ Texas. Longhorns have to win one of these big games to extend the the Herman honeymoon. Another close loss, and the natives will start getting restless.
Louisville @ FSU. Who would have guessed that this would be a match up of unranked teams with 1-3 and 2-2 conference records?
Early afternoon:
ASU @ Utah. 30-17, Utes.
UCF @ Navy. Another two frontrunners for the G5 birth.
Oregon @ UCLA. Scout out next week's opponent.
Sat. evening:
BYU @ ECU. Both once proud programs with large-ish fan bases that are now 1-6. Don't watch this game!
Michigan @ Penn State. The original white out is on. Watch this game!
USC @ Notre Dame. When was the last time ND played a truly big game? Here it is. Playoff elimination!
Zona @ Cal. For Pac-12 followers only.
Late Sat:
Some strong MWC action with Wyo @ BSU and Fresno @ SDSU.
CU @ Wazzu. You never know with Wazzu.
Nothing to get excited about tonight.
Friday night - Tulane @ Memphis. Roll Wave!
Sat morning:
Okie State @ WVU. Both ranked. Big game.
Sat afternoon:
PSU @ OSU. Game of the week. Winner almost a sure thing for playoff.
TCU @ ISU. Both ranked.
NCState @ Notre Dame. Both ranked.
Utah @ Oregon. Neither ranked. Big game for both teams' bowl hopes.
Sat evening has some good Pac-12 action
Wazzu @ Zona
USC @ ASU
Ugh. Stanford didn't deserve that win.
Boston College lays the smack down on Florida State, 35-3.
When Penn St. loses, America wins. Great day for America !!
There is a MAC game tonight, in case you are a communist who will not watch the World Series.
Thursday - looks bad.
Friday - Utah Football!
Saturday is packed from start to finish. Great week this week. Sat morning:
PSU @ MSU. Both ranked.
Sat afternoon:
Clemson @ NCState. Awoooo!
Stanford @ WSU. Both ranked. Let's see if Falk learned whatever lesson he was supposed to learn from Leach's bizarre benching.
OU @ Okie State. Game of the week. Playoff hopes on the line for both teams.
Sat evening:
VaTech @ Miami. Another game between playoff contenders.
LSU @ Bama. Both ranked.
Late night Saturday:
Zona @ USC. Both ranked. South division lead at stake.
OSU routed by Iowa. PSU down to MSU. Big 10 getting interesting.
Clemson dodges the wolfpack bullet. Bedlam has 100+ points with 8 minutes to go. What a great sport.
Fire Urban!
The Lane Train keeps on rolling.

This is week 11, and CFP implications are everywhere.
Friday night: UW @ Stanford. Huskies last shot at CFP for Pac-12.
Sat morning:
MSU @ OSU. Both ranked. Big10 east still up in the air.
Okie St @ ISU. Both ranked.
Sat early afternoon:
UGa @ Auburn. #1 vs #10.
Iowa @ Wisconsin. Iowa already spent it's annual "big upset" coin.
Sat afternoon:
WSU @ Utah.
Sat evening:
Bama @ Cowbell. Has anyone actually watched Bama this year? Not one game worth watching yet.
Notre Dame @ Miami. Playoff on the line. #3 vs #7.
TCU @ OU. #6 vs #5. So many big games!
Not much going on for Sat late night.
No weekday games worth watching this week. Also, it's SEC vs creampuff week. This may be the worst week of the season as far as intriguing match ups. Of course, that means it will be a day full of exciting chaos, right?
Sat morning:
UVa @ Miami. Bronco's chance at a signature win.
Michigan @ Wisconsin. No one seems able to slow down the badgers.
Sat afternoon:
Nothing. Seriously, nothing.
Sat evening:
Cal rivalry games: Cal/Stanford and USC/UCLA. For some reason, these games are played a week before rivalry week. Oh yeah, it's for a forced Notre Dame "rivalry".
Sat late:
Utah @ UW. The only must-see game of the day.
Trouble for Miami. Down 17-7 in the fourth to Pitt.
(Where is Sancho with this week's games?)
