Through 12, Dodger pitchers have 14, Brewers have 17.
I also think it's fair to say that Kershaw had just as much to do with the Dodgers' making the playoffs the last 3 years as Koufax did in '63, '65, and '66. Obviously Kershaw hasn't done anything...
"It's not my wife; it's not my life. It's just a game."
And Koufax did pitch well in that game (only 1 ER), but I brought that game up more for the fact that Koufax's post-season impact was really...
The interesting thing in a Koufax-Kershaw comparison is that due to Koufax's injuries and slow start to his career (relatively speaking, of course), Kershaw has already had a better career than...
Kershaw and Greinke combined to pitch 27 1/3 innings and give up 9 ER. That's an ERA under 3 in the playoffs. The loss of this series isn't on them at all, it's on the offense that couldn't score.
As such, thanks for trading us Andrew Heaney.
I think you mean Greinke vs. Scherzer.
Maybe that John Dehiln knows what he's talking about . . .
That's true. I suppose the Dodgers are to the Yankees as BYU is to Notre Dame.
How can you dislike the Yankees? Aren't the Yankees and the Dodgers pretty much the same franchise?
everything in this post is 100% correct.
I'll take that bet. You have to remember Pujols was the undisputed best hitter in baseball for quite a while. He's nowhere near that player since he joined the Angels, but he amassed a pretty...

I'll take that bet, and that's not a comment on Kershaw; he's probably most likely of any pitcher out there to throw one.
27 outs with an error is more impressive than just a plain old 27 outs anyway, right?
With 15 strikeouts and holding opposing hitters to 0-28 with no walks and no hbp has to be one of the best few...
That doesn't look like Jose Fernandez.
Nice to see the 2014 Dodgers are apparently still using their 2013 bullpen.
That poster's not accurate. Puig isn't fat enough.
It's gotten to the point where I'm surprised any time Kershaw gives up a hit. Barring a late-season collapse, it will be a crime if he doesn't get the MVP.
Kershaw should win the NL MVP this year (barring a collapse), and frankly it's not terribly close.
Does this guy pitch for the Dodgers?

Choking away the opportunity . . .
Hairston was safe by a mile. The replays showed it wasn't even really that close. Huge blown call.
Ned Colletti is, by far, the worst GM in baseball.
