I'm fine playing USU as long as byu is dropped that year. Playing both USU and byu in the same year does nothing for the Utes.

I predict WSU is going to throw deep early and often.
I have a friend who is a huge USC fan. He's convinced USC is going to dump Helton to hire Urban.
"refund??!"
He'll have to contend with Moocher.
Sadly the Utes are well below average at doing that.
TT's play calling reminds me of Crowton's offense at byu: there doesn't seem to be any sort of method to it. I'm the only Ute fan I know that thought A-Rod was fine, any shortcoming during his tenure...
So he has to sit out even with the new rule?
Was Enis here for spring?

This was a great old thread to read through.
That's why I was confused, like they just recently decided to drop basketball. I guess I wasn't paying attention that they weren't playing in the MWC.
I hadn't heard Hawaii dropped basketball. When did that happen?
Where did Francis Bernard end up?
He certainly behaves like someone who has always been entitled.
Utah was the first to offer Darnold as well. Sure would be nice to get one of those kids once in a while. Hopefully Tuttle will turn out to be that kid.
Me either. Huntley isn't accurate enough downfield, at least not compared to PAC QBs.
Taylor doesn't seem to have an identity. I think it's a no-brainer to be a run first offense but that seems to...
Utes 31
Coal Miner's Daughters 28
I've wondered the same thing. So far the other two D-linemen we signed that year have shown a lot more promise while not being nearly as heavily recruited as Tupai was. I keep looking for him but...
I agree with everything you said. It is clear the WRs have been the weak link on offense. I thought I was the only Ute fan who didn't blame the problems on offense on Roderick. He's a better OC than...
I'm not getting my hopes up. The playcalling for ASU was all over the board. I don't think the Utes score much in this one.

Utes 10
Arcenaux always seemed so close to being great but just never got there. Very good on his best day but average most of the time.
I prefer a ball control offense over a gimmicky one. Can this offense work in the PAC? I have my doubts. I know I'm the only Ute fan who didn't blame Roderick and I'm starting to see it even more now.
Mike McCoys: 16
Tedy Bruschis: 13
I have a hard time believing the option would work at byu but what do I know? Are there enough Mormon kids running the option in high school that they would be able to recruit QBs?
