    knowing truth

anyone have any recommendations on resources (essays/podcasts/blogs/etc) for objective/critical looks at the classic mormon "knowing truth through feelings" ? I've read/heard/encountered a lot of snippets along the way, but I'm looking for something that ties things together.

    thanks.

You could try out these podcasts from Mormon Matters:

    http://mormonmatters.org/2011/12/07/...what-is-truth/

There are also some good essays on the same website that you can do a word search for.

Such an interesting, sensitive, personal and ultimately vital subject. When I get some time I will try to contribute.

“True, we [lawyers] build no bridges. We raise no towers. We construct no engines. We paint no pictures - unless as amateurs for our own principal amusement. There is little of all that we do which the eye of man can see. But we smooth out difficulties; we relieve stress; we correct mistakes; we take up other men's burdens and by our efforts we make possible the peaceful life of men in a peaceful state.”
