David Bowie, 69. Passes away from Cancer.

“It only ends once. Anything that happens before that is just progress.”

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Similar to the T-Rex caving in the sun roof in Jurassic Park, the look on Alan Rickman's face during Hans Gruber's death fall is actually real.

    From http://sploid.gizmodo.com/alan-rickm...r-f-1666327722

Little known fact about Alan Rickman in Die Hard: For his character’s death scene he agreed to fall onto an airbag 25 feet (7.62 meters) below on the count of three. Except the director and the stunt people thought they would get a better reaction if they dropped him on the count of “one.” They were right. His face is priceless.

I'll be honest, if you had asked me, I would've said he had already passed.

He did, out in that field in the "Godfather," when they left the gun and took the cannolis.

Your knowledge of the Godfather is shameful. tessio was taken away at the end, because he sided with Barzini against Michael after Marlon Brando died. He tried to get off the hook for old times sake, but Robert Duvall couldnt do it.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d30Y0n1nDH4

The guy shot with the statue of liberty in the background when Clemenza said take the gun, leave the cannolis was the guy who set up Marlon Brando to get shot, and called in sick the day it happened. Sonny called him a putz.

actually I got it wrong too. He set up Marlon brando to get shot, not Sonny. You cant be a true American if you dont know the Godfather by heart.

Not particularly famous, but an interesting side note in history.

    Bob Ebeling, 89.

Interesting that he lived his life out in Brigham City. It sounds like he was able to come to terms with the disaster in the end.

I heard his january NPR interview and was in tears. I actually just used his story for a lesson on foregiveness that i taught last week in church. He seemed like a great individual.

    Ken Howard, 71.

    http://www.oregonlive.com/entertainm..._series_t.html

Ken Howard, the president of the actors' union SAG-AFTRA, died Wednesday at 71.

Howard, widely beloved in Hollywood, was a busy, versatile, actor. He won a Tony Award in 1970 for "Child's Play." He was Thomas Jefferson in the Broadway musical "1776" and reprised the role for the movie version.

He played treacly corporate exec Hank Hooper on "30 Rock."

But the 6'6" actor will be remembered most of all as Ken Reeves in "The White Shadow," the CBS TV series that ran from 1978 to 1981. This is a good thing: the series was groundbreaking and funny and dramatic, and it showcased Howard at his best....

So sad. An incredibly innovative and immensely talented musician. And one of the greatest guitar players of all time, despite not really being known as a guitar player first.

And apparently was a hell of a basketball player as well. (this is supposedly a true story, though humorously embellished by Dave Chappelle).
