    Police shooting in Baltimore

This one is nuts. Woman got shot by police who were executing a bench warrant for a traffic citation. So did her 5-year-old son. She held a shotgun while police tried to get into her home on a warrant. What get's crazier is the underlying issue. Apparently, the traffic ticket was for not having a license plate. Here is the link for what she had instead. This indicates that she was a sovereign citizen. (This bunch of whackos.) Hell, this summer has been a nutty one.

She shot at a police officer, case over. You simply cannot do that and then claim any injustice.

There is no injustice in this case. Shoot at the cops, and you will suffer the consequences.

But I have to wonder, WTF are these 'Sovereign Citizens' people thinking? I think that even Donald Trump had read more of the US Constitution they have. They are living in a completely separate, alternate reality. Apparently this is Ammon and Ryan Bundy's new strategy, to claim that the local and state government has no authority over them, because they are entities unto themselves under the US Constitution.

    This is nothing new.

This video is from West Memphis in 2010. The perpetrators were a father son who were both sovereign citizens.

Warnings, some of this is graphic.

Also this warrant wasn't simply for a traffic ticket. There was also a warrant for a man on Assault charges, and armed woman also had further charges.

This was not a no-knock warrant, but it was a standoff that lasted for many hours.

It is scary to think that something similar could have happened at the Cliven Bundy standoff, but with far higher body count and against far better-armed group o of 'Sovereigns'.

On the initial stop the woman told the officer he would have to kill her

During the incident yesterday she asked her 5 year old, who she had with her while holding a shotgun on officers, why the police were there. The child responded "they're here to kill us"

The man wanted for assault took the 1 year old and fled from the house.

I agree that the shooting was totally justified. What I find crazy is just how many people are still blaming the cops on this and how dangerous these sovereign citizens truly are.

Here is a smattering of articles I found seemingly supporting her:
