Really, your relentless jihad against Larry K. is becoming ridiculous. No Utah fan is happy about the player exits or the mediocre results. We don't need you beating the drum constantly.
Simmer down, Hoss. People can post fake news about the Utes getting the number 5 class in the nation, and I’m just as free to post facts to set the record straight. I didn’t say anything, just posted a reputable link, and you went nuts. What’s gotten into you?

It’s not my intention pursue an effort to get the coaches fired, certainly not this way.

Actually, I think it’s very damaging to disseminate such fake news. The Utes will never get the number 5 class, that isn’t how we’ve won, and expectations for that are not realistic or productive. It’s also haunting because it’s a tactic borrowed from Boylen’s playbook.

Also, I am by nature a skeptic. You should know that by now.

I have no problem with the recruiting. It’s as good as it’s ever been or better. It’s their failure at keeping the players and getting them committed to a system that’s suitable for a program that inevitably recruits at a 30-plus level ranking. Like Texas Tech.

I’m not a basketball recruiting guru at all. But. Know the ESPN top 100 is not seen as the most accurate ranking. And it is only US high school seniors.

247 show Utah with the 16th highest class, the next highest PAC 12 team is Stanford at 26.
    https://247sports.com/Season/2020-Ba...eTeamRankings/

Rivals has Utah at 21, with USC ahead at 16, and Stanford and UCLA around 40. They have Martinez at 60, and Lohner at 110.

Ther may be a lot to criticize Larry about, but I don’t hunk this recruiting class is one of them.

Look. I’ve never criticized his recruiting. I’ve only criticized inaccurate information.

I’m sorry you went to all this work, because these rankings are absolutely meaningless at this point. Only the early signing period has passed. There are a whole bunch of highly regarded recruits unsigned.

There is no science to which ranking is better. The only disparagement of ESPN I’ve heard here. (I know they were right about Childs.) It’s all subjective and fraught with bias anyway. And there are a lot of similarities. In any event, it looks like the Utes are on schedule to drop below 30th when recruiting is done for 2020. I don’t say this to disparage our recruiting. On the contrary. It’s just reality. You can deny reality, but facts don’t care.

Umm, wow! I had a hard time reading beyond your first statement.

I don’t know why you think doing a couple of internet searches is hard work. You should think about that next time you consider saying something like your first two sentences.

I've been very clear that I have no expectation that Utah will ever recruit in the top 30 and we need to accept that. That's why I knew it was fake news.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
