Thread: PAC-12 hoops in 2017-2018

Pac 12 play starts off with a bang this weekend as ASU travels to Arizona.

Here's the rest of the slate:

    ASU @ Arizona
    Cal @ Stanford
    Oregon/Oregon St. vs. Utah/Colorado
    Washington/WSU vs. USC/UCLA
“It only ends once. Anything that happens before that is just progress.”

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Great battle between Arizona and ASU. Bobby Hurley lost his voice about halfway through the 2nd half according to the sideline reporter.

Arizona held on to win...but what a tough out these two squads will be.

This week in the Pac 12:

Oregon and OSU battle as well as Washington and Wazzu.

Arizona and ASU hit the road to Utah and Colorado (big week for the Utes if they could steal one of these two).

USC and UCLA head up to Cal and Stanford.

After one week, here's the +/- for road wins/home losses:

    Utah +2
    Cal +1
    Washington +1
    UCLA 0
    Arizona 0
    ASU 0
    Colorado 0
    WSU 0
    Oregon -1
    OSU -1
    USC -1
    Stanford -1

I’m pretty sure the other player scratched Metu’s neck and provoked him to punch back in self-defense. You’re a wuss and a crybaby if say another word about this.

Buffs get the upset, and now UCLA/Stanford is going to 2OT on FS1. UCLA with clutch buzzer beater 3 to send it into 2nd OT.

    Results:

Arizona wins on the road +1
    Utah loses at home -1
    CU wins at home 0
ASU loses on the road 0
    Stanford wins at home 0
UCLA loses on the road 0
USC wins on the road +1
    Cal loses at home -1

ASU could be 0-3 after this weekend. We should really help them get there.

Also, barring a significant upset, Arizona is probably going to be undefeated well into the double digits looking at their schedule.

Winning on the road is always important.
I build a program to track road conference wins and home losses.
+1 for road win, -1 for home loss

    Here are the current standings.

    Road Pac12 TEAM Road Home
    +1 (3-1) UCLA (1-1) (2-0)
    +1 (2-1) Utah (2-0) (0-1)
    0 (2-1) USC (1-0) (1-1)
    +2 (2-1) Washington (2-1) (0-0)
    +1 (2-1) Arizona (1-1) (1-0)
    -1 (2-1) Oregon State (0-0) (2-1)
    0 (2-2) Colorado (0-2) (2-0)
    -1 (1-1) Stanford (0-0) (1-1)
    -1 (1-2) California (1-0) (0-2)
    -1 (1-2) Oregon (0-1) (1-1)
    0 (0-2) Arizona State (0-2) (0-0)

USC handled Colorado pretty easily last night, pulling away in the second half. Metu finished with 6 blocks, so he should have a field day against our bigs. Andy Enfield took a timeout late in the game for no other reason than to stick it in Boyle's face after his comments about USC and Arizona and the FBI investigation. In the handshake line, he didn't say anything to Boyle, just walked through with a massive sh!t-eating smile on his face and kept going. At least one USC player refused to shake Boyle's hand. What a pack of losers.

Give me a break Miller and enfield... everyone know you two are top of the line bag droppers.

No, no. All those 4 and 5 star recruits suddenly started flowing to USC because of Enfield’s brilliance as a recruiter. Get with the program, buddy! Fight on!

    Games this week:

    Arizona/ASU @ Cal/Stanford
    UCLA/USC @ Oregon/OSU
    Wash/Wazzu @ Utah/Colorado

After this week, there are only two weekends where all teams will be playing both games of the weekend (Games 13-14, 17-18).

Arizona @ Stanford tied with 6 to go. Sounds like there are more Zona fans in Palo Alto than Cards fans.
