    The 10 year cyber war

Not the one about to come but rather the one that has been going on.

Working in IT Sec, couldn't agree more.

Here's some traveling advice, from the US-CERT (Homeland Security IT Sec):

-Don’t use public WiFi to conduct personal business, banking orshopping online.

-Disable Bluetooth networking whenever possible. (Bluetoothis a great convenience in connect to your car and other devices, but it is alsoa security sieve.)

-Be cautious when charging in unknown places, such as airports& libraries, etc

Be cautious when charging? What does that mean? How is charging a risk?

My guess is know the source of the power and that you're not plugging into some computer that could try to access your data over USB.

So no USB charging. That makes more sense.
