Thread: SOCAL is where my mind is... Utah @ UCLA and USC

    What a game.

    Parker Van Dyke!

    Collette perfect from the field.

Bibbins amazing. Bealer with the clutch FTs.

Such a relief. The dream lives on.

We basically played 6 guys tonight.

Seeley, Johnson, and Caldwell each had a few minutes, but it was mostly the starters plus Tillman.

Saturday's game is early, and USC has an extra day of rest. I hope Barefield is back.

Barefield looked like he was moving pretty slow and deliberate getting up and down during time outs. Hope he can play but I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t.

I'm not second-guessing a nice win, but I am wondering if Jayce could have helped with the rebounding.
This team has turned into a fun team to watch.

Yeah, but how do you take Collette out when he's killing like he was?

Great win. Disappointing crowd. 7:00 pm start. No competition from Jazz.

Surprised at the crowd. This game mattered.

RPI jumped to 40 with that win...UCLA's is 50, so we're hanging on just barely to a top 50 win there.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Went to the game last night. Exciting and fun. Very happy to see PVD get his break-out performance.

This is great too. Especially when Van Dyke gets into the locker room.

Ok. Pet peeve time. They weren’t robbed

Media loves to call everything a robbery cause it sounds so much more dramatic. But it’s not even close to accurate. It’s a burglary.

LOL! That is awesome. Looks like they startled PVD pretty good.

    Fill in the blank:

PVD's shot was the biggest shot in Utah basketball since __________________.

Right off the top of my head, I look at Brandon Taylor breaking Gabe York's ankles and then bagging a three to close the AZ game in 2016, and JD with the three at the horn to send the game to OT against Cal in the 2013 Pac-12 tournament.

Did he re-injure his foot during the game?

I am guessing he did. They had Tillman playing the low post when Collette went out for a couple of minutes at about the 5 minute mark in the game.

Saving Jokl for the post-season. Smart!

Not sure why Metu can make gestures towards the bench and do push-ups in front of our bench and the refs don’t seem to care. Maybe he’s funneling them some of his loan money?

Well, a number of interviews has convinced Lynn Swann that Metu is clean.
