    This is pretty impressive:

Nearly 40% of all NFL players come from 18 schools

Guess who is one of the 4 PAC-12 school on the list? That has got to be nice thing for recruiting.

"Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold."
    --Yeats

“True, we [lawyers] build no bridges. We raise no towers. We construct no engines. We paint no pictures - unless as amateurs for our own principal amusement. There is little of all that we do which the eye of man can see. But we smooth out difficulties; we relieve stress; we correct mistakes; we take up other men's burdens and by our efforts we make possible the peaceful life of men in a peaceful state.”

Last night, SoCalPat tweeted that if Alex wins MVP, he will be the 7th former #1 pick to win.

So a trivia question: can you name the six w/o google?

(I got intrigued and looked it up.)

    My UnGoogled Guesses:

    1) Peyton Manning
    2) John Elway
    3) Roger Staubach
    4) Joe Namath
    5) Bart Star
    6) Jim Plunkett
“It only ends once. Anything that happens before that is just progress.”

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

If I read Wikepedia correctly, Peyton and Elway are correct. The others are OJ, Bradshaw, Earl Campbell, and Cam.

    Is that right, SoCalPat?
