Sione Pou'uha was just released by the Jets. He had trouble staying healthy last year. I am sure he will find a home quickly.

Kruger to Cleveland leads me to believe he wanted to pay Baltimore back twice a year. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...up-paul-kruger

Probably the best thread for this:

    Reggie Dunn's official 40 times today were 4.22 & 4.26

Heard that Topps and Lacy burned it up as well, but official times are not out yet.

Twitter said Lacy ran a 4.16! That is lightning!

Star was the real star. 38 Bench Press reps (tied for highest of anyone at the combo on the DLine) with good agility tests such as a 30" vert.

    The 4.16 was a misprint.

Good grief! He's an amazing athlete. Has anything ever been resolved about his heart condition?

His tests were more normal the week after the combine he said, and he said today he believes a virus caused the issue and he believes his follow up NFL tests will be fine. The doctors at the U put him through every test.

Awesome. I hope Andy Reid takes him #1 overall, but it sounds more and more like it will be the OLineman from aTm. Star should be a top 3 pick, though.

Jordan Gross has restructured his contract: He now is only signed with Carolina through the 2013 season, and will become a UFA in 2014. For 2013, he goes from $8.7 million to $5.5 million ($1 million salary and $4.5 million signing bonus).

    Any word on Sione Pouha?

They are trying to survive by becoming the national LDS newspaper. Weddle is a good story for their audience because of his conversion. If you look at the most-read stories every day, they are LDS-oriented. That's why we see so much about BYU sports on the DesNews online edition. I once asked a writer there why, in the Sunday morning DesNews, a minor BYU win would get top billing over a major Utah win, and he said they're just catering to their core national audience.

They also fired a good chunk of their actual journalists, choosing to let 'contributors' write to save money.

They're expanding their numbers by online subscriptions, because they can't actually sell hard copies in Utah.

As someone who isn't LDS, both the Deseret News and KSL are close to unreadable/unwatchable as most every story gets a religious twist (even when its not religious) I just want sports and news. (For those that don't know KUTV routinely destroys KSL in the ratings these days)

As for sports, they have one writer assigned to Utah, Dirk Faced. Amy Donaldson has stated writing articles, but she's mediocre at best. They forced Linda Hamilton out of gymnastics coverage a few years ago. Usually they don't send a local reporter to cover Utah on the road, instead hiring a student from the opposing schools student body to write the article (or just publishing Utah's press release)

It's not even really a story. It's 5 excerpts lifted straight from the book

It appears as though Dave Kruger is injured and not fully participating in Browns' OTA. That can't be good. http://www.ohio.com/blogs/cleveland-...ctice-1.396898

I think anyone who ever saw Reggie Dunn try to catch a ball that wasn't a kickoff already knew this, but it looks like he is having some difficulties trying to field punts cleanly at Steelers' OTAs. http://www.steelersdepot.com/2013/05...ssion-of-2013/

With the limits on NFL rosters, I'd be really surprised if Dunn sticks around. Kickoffs simply aren't important enough these days to have a specialist handle them. Too bad - he was really fun to watch.

Certainly, but you have to be able to do something else. I just don't thing that there are enough roster spots to hold one for a guy that can only do kickoffs.
