Wouldn't it be cool if there was a way to get Covey involved without putting his life in danger?

They have constant pressure on Huntley, and we can't get anywhere near Fink.

I don’t remember hearing Anae’s name at all so far tonight.

I have a bad feeling about having to settle for three there.

I think we go for it on 4th and 1 there, but after losing yards on 3rd...gotta kick.

We know what the storyline is if we lose...missed opportunities from within the 5.

Well, I guess we found the end zone.

Nonexistence of our pass protection is the story of the game for us. (and the missed goal line opportunities, of course)

Huntley has happy feet. Very quick to take off instead of scrambling and keeping his eyes downfield.

Unexpected and disappointing. Let’s all pour the Kool-Aid down the drain and move on.

These two things are one and the same.

Yeah, I guess so. Left 11 points on the 1 yard line. The lack of protection is what led to the happy feet mentioned earlier as well.

A hold on the OL also pushed us back towards the goal line right before the safety.

Seemed like our receivers couldn’t get
open. Tyler often had plenty of time.

You and I just watched different football games. Tyler had no time tonight. He was pressured constantly. He often made something of that with his feet.

Maybe I’ll watch some of my recording of the game and see if I agree.

They certainly got a lot more pressure on Huntley than we got on Fink. We couldn't get to him at all, and that gave him the time he needed to beat us.

Tyler is a gamer. He showed that tonight.

Huntley looked a lot like sophomore Huntley the second half. But given the state of the o-line, I don’t really blame him.

Yeah, but he's also the main reason we were in that game. He made the great throw after they went up 7-0. He avoided one million sacks, and he converted many of those scrambles into 1st downs.

Pregame, someone hired a plane to fly a banner over the Coliseum last night. It was fun to watch and lasted a good 30 minutes. In fact, the whole outing was fun until the game started.

That was so brutal an ass kicking that my butt hurts. The OL was destroyed and exposed and the DB's were torched. Special just went to relying on USC to lose 1 more game than we lose to even win the South.

I have no criticism of Huntley. The OL was terrible. He should probably have been sacked 10 times.

USC has better players. Our guys have heart, they are more talented. It’s always been that way, and probably always will be.

We probably got a bad break injuring their true freshman quarterback starter. He could not possibly have had as good a game as this third-stringer who was chafing on the bench for three years.
One thing I have learned in a long life: that all our science, measured against reality, is primitive and childlike -- and yet it is the most precious thing we have.

    --Albert Einstein

The fact that life evolved out of nearly nothing, some 10 billion years after the universe evolved out of literally nothing, is a fact so staggering that I would be mad to attempt words to do it justice.
