“It only ends once. Anything that happens before that is just progress.”
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
Great shot posted by Hanno today.
Who is that in the red? Drew?
Andre has the homeless look down.
I was disappointed they did not introduce all the 98 team members individually last night. I was also disappointed that Van Horn didn't show, and then remembered he wasn't on that team.
Just amazing.

So I said to David Eckstein, "You promised me, Eckstein, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I noticed that during the most trying periods of my life, there have only been one set of prints in the sand. Why, when I have needed you most, have you not been there for me?" David Eckstein replied, "Because my little legs had gotten tired, and you were carrying me." And I looked down and saw that I was still carrying David Eckstein.

Andre Miller bought out by the T-Wolves. I'm hoping this isn't the end of the road for Dre.

This post is not perfect for this thread, but I am watching the 1998 final four game with North Carolina right now. This is a lot of fun.

“True, we [lawyers] build no bridges. We raise no towers. We construct no engines. We paint no pictures - unless as amateurs for our own principal amusement. There is little of all that we do which the eye of man can see. But we smooth out difficulties; we relieve stress; we correct mistakes; we take up other men's burdens and by our efforts we make possible the peaceful life of men in a peaceful state.”

Andre Miller, Michael Doleac, Drew Hansen, Alex Jensen, Hanno Mottola. What a starting 5.

I didn't know Andre had a kid. I never thought about it. I wonder how old he is. Has Larry sent him any letters yet? We need to get on that!
EDIT:
From this article dated March 2014:
Ok, now I've gone "full creeper" mode. LOL.Now that his 14-year-old son, Duane, is at an age when he can fully understand and question what’s going on around him, Andre Miller said he feels more of an obligation to set a good example.
