Wow, I'm so glad this thread is a thing again! I agree with each of the three previous posts, very excited about the upcoming Band Of Horses and Okkervil River albums.
Two things I've been digging lately:
1. Pete Yorn: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pCklO0gb3Y
2. Boy & Bear: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEUY7dXsxrk
Both albums are top notch.
I'm not an audiophile, but I just won some Beats headphones. On the Apple site, they sell for $300, which is just crazy. Anyway, they are amazing. I've been listening to little laptop speakers or my Kindle's speakers for years. It feels like I'm seeing in color for the first time or something. Even playing a dumb little game on my tablet is different. Anyway, don't call me - I won't hear the phone ring.
Was this in celebration of Bob winning the Nobel prize for literature?

(CNN)The 2016 Nobel Prize in Literature has been awarded to American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, for "having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition."The Swedish Academy's permanent secretary, Sara Danius, said Dylan, 75, "is a great poet in the English-speaking tradition." She drew parallels between his work and that of ancient Greek poets.
I saw a door that said exit only. So I entered through it and went up to the guy working there and said "I have good news. You have severely underestimated that door over there. By like a hundred percent." Demetri Marti
