I went to bed early, but woke-up middle of the night and saw the score. UTES!

OT: Sean Miller's comments and respect for other P12 teams are really impressive. I'm a fan.

Interesting stats: Utah ranks ahead of Oregon in every offensive statistical category except free throw percentage and scoring offense. We are 6th in 3-point FG percentage and they are 9th. Still, they've given us fits because of their length and athleticism and they sure had their way with us in the regular season. They rank much higher in offensive rebounds than we do, which seems like an important statistic because of the additional shots that gives them.

Maybe the third time will be the charm.

Unfortunately, obviously, stats don't tell the whole story. A lot of variables and scenarios to capture.

Exactly. It's next to the freeway.
Access from NYNY will go through the parking structure - or so it appears from my window this morning.

That's what I like about stats. We can compare them to actual game results. Oregon clearly has something special going on.

You have to love the progress the team has made with keeping their composure in crunch time.

The winner of tonight's game deserves a one seed.

Watching warm-ups, the Ducks are warming up on the basket by our band and Muss section. I'm not sure what they said to him, but after he took a shot, it looked like he turned and flipped them off (playfully, it looked like).

Bilas said that if the committee uses the formula it has always used AND if the Ducks win, they should get a 1 seed. Big opportunity for both teams tonight.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

that's not good. We are settling for jumpers or post ups against Poeltl instead of driving into him to create a foul.

Lots of tired looking legs on both sides so far.

7+ minutes without a field goal. That's what happens when you play against athletes who also understand the game.

The dumb turnovers must stop right away or we are done for.

One thing that always becomes apparent in the post season. Teams that pressure get away with more contact.

Agreed. However, our players have been making those mistakes on a relative consistent basis. Tigers and stripes. You are who you are.
